Darielle “Diva Dari” Williams, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, is an aerialist, choreographer, actor, and stuntwoman based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a BA in Dance from Florida International University and has an extensive background in circus arts, dance, swimming and gymnastics. Williams is recognized for her solo aerialist work in Beyonce's Formation Tour, after a 2-year performance run with Las Vegas' Le Rêve - The Dream. She was also a featured soloist in Taylor Mac’s LA staging of A 24-Decade History of Popular Music, and a Freedom Festival headlining performer at the Stadium of Fire. Williams has performed at the LA Opera, various symphonies, and award shows - most notably for SZA, Missy Elliot and Jennifer Lopez. She has appeared in several commercial brands such as Amazon Alexa, Bare Chips, and Good American. You can easily spot her on The Little Mermaid Live on Disney Plus. Williams’ choreography career is highlighted by Crowdstike’s Falconfest, Netflix’s Tudum and The Cleaning Lady. Her stunt work has been featured in popular TV shows like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Snowfall, P Valley and NCIS Hawaii. Williams is known for her flying pole act, and is proud to have also invented her own aerial apparatus - The Aerial Drum, an afrofuturistic reimagining of the African Djembe drum. Williams operates the Lookout Space where she offers coaching lessons in Pole, Aerial, and Stilts.
Hoop Dynamics Workshop
Darielle Williams has been instructing aerial for 15 years and aerial hoop is her favourite apparatus to teach. This workshop will focus on some dynamic techniques, including drops, beats and spins.
